The Recreation and Family Pod represents Bloom Community
Activate the right side of your brain in The Recreation and Family Pod and open up your creativity!
Explore a range of arts and crafts, games and puzzles in colourful play areas. Relax with a book, or plug yourself in to the Bloom ‘think pods’ in the chill out zone.
Young children will be looked after safely by our trained childcare staff, in the short-stay creche during the day, when parents come in for an appointment or class.
There will be sensory rooms designed for children with learning disabilities, to help them nourish all their senses, and enjoy play, through touch and textures, light and animation, smell and taste, and sounds and music.
Crossing the bridge through the secret garden brings you into the Library and E-Learning Pod and a new world of possibilities!
The secret garden path leads to the Courtyard Garden, Bloom Tea Room, and the outdoor games area and sports pavilion. It’s the perfect place to chill out with your family, make new friends, and get to know the Bloom Team, and our great volunteers.
There will be something for everyone to enjoy at Bloom!

My late grandfather, Muir Hunter QC, was a hero to me, a very important man who sought justice always, sometimes in dark and dangerous places, and he used to say “the most important thing you need in this life is courage.”
I take his words through my life with me.
Learning to be open about how you feel, even when you’re feeling low, and also finding ways to be there for others, are both ways you can nourish your connection with yourself, and with your family or community.
Improving your well-being in your relationships will help you to build resilience, and help you to find strength to cope during stressful times.

Like the physical place ‘BLOOM’ that we are building, the BloomSpace Well-being project offers you a peaceful space you can come to relax, grow, connect and blossom.
This is a project with a grass-roots ideology; built by the people, of the people, and for the people. In order to Bloom, it needs light and rain from the community it will sustain.
